Roland Einkorn Wheat (Triticum monococcum) dates back to the Ancient Egyptians and Romans. A grain of ancient royalty, it has a lower gluten content than most modern wheat varieties. To serve, cook 1 cup of Roland Organic Einkorn Wheat in 2 cups of boiling salted water for 25-30 minutes until desired texture is achieved. Imported from Italy, this is a wonderful alternative to farro in your favorite salads or as a risotto substitute.
